Provided by St Vincent Catholic Medical Center School of Nursing-Brooklyn and QueensThe School of Nursing was established in 1969, as the Catholic Medical Center School of Nursing. As a result of a corporate merger in 2000, it is now known as the School of Nursing of Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York. The two-year educational program results in granting of a 64 credit Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing, and eligibility to sit for the NCLEX-RN professional licensing examination. The 37 nursing course credits are offered at the School of Nursing campus, while the 27 credits in liberal arts and science courses are offered at the collegiate affiliate, Queensborough Community College.
