Illinois Central College (ICC) in Peoria, Illinois doesn’t only offer various degree options, solid academic advising and flexible scheduling. ICC also provides a culturally rich environment to enhance the college experience.

ICC offers two-year associate’s degrees and certificates in such disciplines as Agriculture, Business, English, Health Careers and Library Assisting. ICC helps guide students to the degree program and discipline is best for them by listing academic departments based on the group of related careers that they lead to, giving students more clarity about which pathway to choose.

Highly flexible scheduling makes taking courses convenient for all students, with weekend, evening, and online courses available in all departments.

Whether students are looking to transfer or seeking to start a career right away, ICC’s counselors will help guide them with various resources. Career services, for example, offers free career workshops, assessments, resume and interview seminars and job search assistance.

Once students are settled into their academic and career plans they’re free to participate in the numerous cultural offerings at Illinois Central College. ICC presents more than 500 performances, art exhibits, lectures, seminars, tournaments, concerts and the like annually. It is, therefore, a place where you may find many ways to enhance yourself artistically, culturally, intellectually and personally.

The town of Peoria is also rich in cultural offerings. Ranked in the past as one of the “10 hottest cities” by U.S. News and World Report, Peoria’s businesses are growing at an accelerated pace, providing a wealth of job opportunities in various industries.

This is a horrible school that did everything in it's power to keep me from transfering. Very unpleasant staff and faculty with huge egos, no return investment to the students despite how much money they extort from the student body.
