The theory behind all Louisiana Technical schools is that students learn by doing. Northwest Louisiana Tech has taught students through hands-on instructional methods throughout the decades that it has been in operation.
Tuition at all LTC campuses is kept as low as possible. In recent years, Louisiana Tech Sabine Valley has even started offering a training program in construction work at no cost.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Those who wish to be considered will need to fill out a FAFSA. Once a student’s eligibility is determined, Pell grants and loans may be awarded. Tuition waivers may also be granted to those undergoing economic hardship.
Admissions requirements include proof of a high school diploma or GED and the passing of an entrance exam.
