The Educators of Beauty in Rockford, Illinois, aims to create the cosmetology leaders of tomorrow through personal development, professional instruction, and hands-on training in its upscale and professional facilities.
Educators of Beauty partners with Pivot Point International, Redken 5th Avenue, Wayne Grund, Matrix and others to provide students with the most up-to-date products and trends. All instructors receive extensive annual training to ensure that your education and training is both top-notch and with the times.
The goal of EB is to prepare students to take the state licensing exam and to offer lifetime job placement assistance nationwide. Students may end up working in spas, salons or other facilities as:
- Distributor Consultants
- Manufacturer Representatives/Educators
- Platform Artists
- Cosmetologists
The school also offers an educator training program, designed to prepare students to become a professionally licensed educator in a cosmetology school or program. At the end of the program, you can gain real world salon experience by qualifying for a supervised salon internship.
The cosmetology course offered requires students to complete 1,500 hours of training, with the option of day or evening schedules. Students must also complete 350 hours of nail technology courses.
