Yakima Beauty School offers residents of Yakima, Washington, a personalized beauty arts education that will meet their individual goals and interests.

Academics include programs in:

  • Cosmetology
  • Esthetics
  • Manicuring

Whichever program they pursue, students can count on small classes and personal guidance from faculty and staff, who help them to choose a specific career path. Whether students wish to work as stylists, salon managers or sales reps, Yakima faculty members will then help them to develop the specific skills they need to get there. Students then further develop these skills by working at the school’s salon.

Materials required for admissions include a high school diploma or GED, two letters of recommendation and a valid driver’s license and social security card. Applicants will also need to interview with a school admissions counselor. Those who are unable to interview may also submit an essay stating why Yakima should accept them.

Yakima Beauty School offers financial aid to students who meet designated financial and other requirements. Financial aid packages usually contain a combination of loans and grants.
