Admissions require incoming students to submit an application, a personal essay detailing reasons and motivation for seeking an education at Expression and, depending on the program in which the student enrolls, a portfolio or drawing test.

The college offers a wide variety of career services to graduates to help them find a job in the digital arts community. The department works closely with many employers to allow students employment opportunities in exciting fields upon graduation. In addition, it works personally with students for motivational support and academic advisement, not to mention handling exit interviews and reviewing all students’ portfolios.

Financial aid is available to eligible students through a number of grants, loans, federal work study opportunities, and scholarships. Expression offers specific scholarships for high school students through the Imagine America Foundation.
