Blue Hills Regional Technical School

The nine towns of the Blue Hills Regional Technical School District have come together in a collective effort to provide students the opportunity of electing to participate in a premier vocational technical school. Through a curriculum which emphasizes the integration of cutting edge technical programs and challenging academic courses, we will enable our students to become competent, caring and productive people in a diverse and changing world.

As a student at Blue Hills, you will spend approximately half of your time in vocational – technical programs and the other half of your time in academic classes on an alternating week basis. During your four years, you must earn 64 units of credit in both your vocational programs and academic classes in order to satisfy our graduation requirements. Throughout your time here, you and your families will have opportunities to select classes in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Electives that you find interesting, challenging, and that most meet your needs for your goals regarding higher education and/or future employment. Guidance counselors, teachers and administrators are all here to help you make choices about which classes can help you build a strong foundation from which you can expand your interests and skills toward a rich and rewarding post-graduate path.

Blue Hills Regional Technical School is located in Canton, Massachusetts, in a geographical region that has abundant opportunities for students. Scores of outstanding colleges and universities are situated in Greater Boston, along with thriving businesses that employ our graduates. With easy access to Boston and Route 128 – an area famous for its high concentration of industrial technology – this location provides excellent opportunities for employment. Situated on a 35-acre campus that borders a tranquil MDC reservation, the school has a beautiful view of its namesake, “Big Blue” Hill.
