Prairie View A & M is a well-established university with a reputation for high quality academics.

Located in Prairie View, TX, Prairie View is part of the Texas A & M University system. Prairie View offers bachelor’s degrees in more than 45 academic disiplines as well as over 35 master’s programs and four doctoral programs.

Prairie View is especially well-known for its programs in engineering and business which received top rankings from U.S. News and World Report.
Its nursing and education programs, two of its oldest, also come with a reputation for excellence.

In addition, at one of Prairie View’s nine schools one may pursue degrees in agriculture, architecture, and the arts and sciences.

Student services at Prairie View include free tutoring in everything from trigonometry to organic chemistry to Spanish.

Career services include workshops, job fairs and counseling for students as well as services for prospective employers.

Prairie View is committed to students of all backgrounds having the same level of access to higher education. Prairie View therefore offers a number of scholarships, including one for adult students in transition. There are also loan, work-study and grant options. Any of these options are available to those who qualify.
