Description
Ventura Adult and Continuing Education center serves the various educational, professional, personal and cultural needs of Ventura County, California residents. For those who have yet to receive a high school diploma, Ventura offers two diploma programs: one with an academic focus and one with an emphasis on career skills.
Another set of programs at Ventura Adult and Continuing Education prepare students for careers in Accounting, Retail and Bookkeeping, among others.
Ventura’s additional classes are designed to enhance practical skills and provide cultural enhancement. Included among these are beginner to advanced ESL courses for second-language learners, parenting classes, personal enrichment courses and classes for senior citizens.
An open-enrollment facility, Ventura Adult and Continuing Education admits all students, regardless of their educational background.
Since it is a public facility, some of Ventura’s classes are offered free of charge.
