LBC is accredited and offers 25 undergraduate programs, 14 graduate programs, and non-traditional programs, including the Degree Completion Program (DCP) and the Institute of Biblical Enrichment (IBE). Our courses are conveniently offered on campus and online.
For over 75 years, LBC has been dedicated to providing students with an intentional education experience that is biblical, transformational, experiential and missional.
The Bible, the Written Word, is the divinely inspired source for truth and instructions for living (2 Timothy 3:16). Therefore, LBC believes the answer to the world's search is found in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. Lancaster Bible College is committed to preparing men and women who thoroughly know the Bible and live in accordance with its principles. Consequently, LBC is a Bible college with approximately 40 percent of the curriculum being centered in the study of God's Word through courses in the Division of Bible Education. This is true of all of our 26 undergraduate programs including the Degree Completion Program.
LBC is preparing people to communicate to people. For this process to occur successfully, the student must know and understand people and the cultural context in which they live. This knowledge begins with self-understanding and then reaches to an understanding of others. LBC is a Bible college—a college committed to a knowledge and understanding of the entire person—physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. As a result, approximately 40 percent of the curriculum focuses on people and the world through course selections in the Division of Arts and Sciences.
