Description

With nearly 15 campuses as well as online courses, Davenport University presents a convenient and accessible educational opportunity for students throughout Michigan.

Most of Davenport’s enrollment consists of part-time and transfer students. To facilitate easy credit transfer for these students, the school has partnerships with many other Michigan institutions, as well as a handful of out-of-state schools, including:

* Ancilla College
* Chippewa Valley Technical College
* College of Lake Country
* Ivy Tech Community College – South Bend
* Ivy Tech Community College – Gary
* Ruritan Valley Community College
* South Hills School of Business and Technology

However, Davenport is not just a transfer school. It’s also a four-year private university that offers associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees and professional certificates. Davenport also awards master’s degrees in the growing fields of business and information assurance (otherwise known as computer security).

Davenport also recognizes that not all valuable knowledge comes from a classroom. The university gives credit not just for past classes you’ve completed, but also for life experience. Professional training, corporate experience, and time spent in the military all qualify for credit hours at Davenport. Of course, they accept AP credit, too!
