Lake Forest Beauty College

Formerly known as Lake Forest Beauty College, this cosmetology institute changed ownership (and its name) in 2010. Now Athena College of Beauty, the school continues its mission to train skilled and versatile cosmetologists in Orange County. Located in Laguna Hills, California, the school is in close proximity to local shopping and dining.

Athena College of Beauty believes that unlike most industries, the beauty profession is timeless. People always want to look their best, and they’ll always need people to help them do so. The school’s academics, which include a cosmetology and esthetics program, are designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving salon industry.

Both programs are divided into freshman and senior levels. In the freshman level, you’ll learn basic technique. Once tested by Athena’s Senior Instructional Staff, you can advance to the senior level, which includes practicing on mannequins and real clients.

Though it does not participate in federal loan programs, Athena College of Beauty does offer financial assistance to its students. In your admissions interview, a school representative will help you determine what financial aid you may be eligible for.
