Description

Comfortable, accessible and rich with opportunity, the Leon Institute of Hair Design provides instruction in and exposure to the beauty industry through a variety of activities.

Located at the heart of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Leon’s Institute is easy to access by car and by public transportation.

Leon’s Hairdressing and Cosmetology program offers training through classes and labs, all of which are housed in Leon’s comfortable and user-friendly facilities. Another part of the training at Leon’s takes place in the school clinic, where students provide hairstyling services to the public under faculty supervision.

Leon’s students may also benefit from Leon’s lectures and workshops, which are led by professional stylists, sales and marketing professionals, and others employed in the beauty industry.

Leon Institute also provides career counseling and resources for finding work.

Students interested in either attending full-time or part-time should have a high school diploma or GED, though Leon’s will waive this requirement if certain conditions are met.

Financial aid is also available through different sources and based on eligibility requirements.
