J Everett Light Career Center

With its career and educational programs for high school students and adults, enrichment courses, and plentiful facilities, the J. Everett Light Career Center offers opportunities for all residents of and around Indianapolis, Indiana. High school students from schools throughout Marion, Boone, Hamilton and other counties may enroll in one of J. Everett Light’s occupational training programs, many of which come with their own hands-on facilities.
Students in the Radio and TV Broadcasting program may, for example, work at the school’s television or radio studio. Those in the Dental Assisting program have access to the school’s dental laboratories. Automotive Repair students can get hands-on experience at the school’s auto shop and Cosmetology students get to perform styling services at the school’s salon.

J. Everett Light also serves local adults with various occupational, educational and personal interests. In addition to a Practical Nursing program, J. Everett Light has community education courses such as Water Aerobics, Adobe Photoshop, Dance and Sign Language.
