Sauk Valley Community College can offer quality, yet affordable professional and academic education. Located in Dixon, Illinois, Sauk Valley Community College has nearly 50 vocational certificate programs, and even more associate’s degrees.

Associate’s degrees include most traditional concentrations, including Business, Computer Information Systems, Education, Liberal Arts, Nursing, and much more. Students who are hoping to go on to a four-year university can do so by transferring credits.

Sauk Valley Community College has a transfer program specifically designed for four-year public universities, which includes completion of associate’s programs in the following fields:
• Mathematics
• Special Education
• Engineering
• Art
• Music

Career programs with associate’s degrees or certificates are also offered, including concentrations such as computer Information Systems, Nursing, Marketing, Accounting, Graphic Design, and Wind Energy.

Courses are offered online to accommodate student needs. Student support services to help students adjust to college life are available. Such support services include counseling, academic and career guidance, tutoring, academic workshops, free laptop lending programs, and success skills workshops for vocational training students.
