As New Mexico’s largest university, the University of New Mexico has a long-standing tradition of excellence. Featuring unique Pueblo architecture, the urban setting of Albuquerque, and an enrollment of over 30,000 spread across 12 schools and colleges, UNM has a unique learning environment with all the resources you’d expect from a flagship research institution.

With over 200 concentrations to choose from, the university offers a variety of academics. The University of New Mexico is especially known for its graduate schools, which include excellent programs in Engineering, Health Care, Law and Photography.

Campus life at the University of New Mexico is diverse. In addition to its hundreds of campus organizations, UNM’s student life features over 15 NCAA Division I athletic programs in the Mountain West Conference, as well as a vast and bustling Greek life.

The UNM Financial Aid Office offers a number of financial assistance opportunities, including need-based based grants and loans, to those who qualify. Additionally, the university offers institutional, departmental and state-funded scholarships, as well as grants from private donors.
