Kilgore College (KC) is a community college located in Kilgore, Texas.

Established in 1935 at the height of the East Texas oil boom (as such, it is home to the East Texas Oil Museum, a collection of memorabilia documenting this period of Texas history), KC has an annual enrollment of more than 5000 students.

It is noted for the Kilgore College Rangerettes, the first precision drill team in the world, created in 1940 by Gussie Nell Davis. There are lots of things I am worried about...... 1) I am afraid I can't get along well with other students? 2) The lifestyle there is far different from Hong Kong? 3) Is there a boring place, no recreational place? 4) limited transportation? 5) racial discrimination? 6) insufficient amenities? I am from Hong Kong. There are lots of places to go to and very very easy to go everywhere, many people there, goods are not expensive, no racial discrimination, I can buy what I need in Hong Kong. I am thinking about whether I can get through the problems in Kilgore,Texas.

I think it a good town and there are things to do. When I was in Fort Worth, Texas in College, we had students from other countries and were good friends and we do things together. You will be OK. True there bad people everywhere, but, you will find some good friends just take your time.
