Description

Beauty Technical College is located in the downtown area of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and provides training in cosmetology.

The school prepares its students for passing the state licensing exam, and for a future profession in the beauty industry. The campus comprises a library, sizeable classrooms and work stations. There is even a clinic area for students to offer salon and spa services to patrons as part of their curriculum.

Academics offered at the college are Basic Cosmetology, Manicurist, and Cosmetology Instructor training. Programs require between 600 and 1500 educational and training hours for graduation. Student services are also available to those who need it, including academic advising, counseling services, tutoring sessions, and more.

Those interested in enrolling at the school should meet with an enrollment advisor. Advisors can discuss the admissions process, go over tuition fees and payment options, and review financial aid programs.

Various forms of federal financial aid are accepted from qualifying applicants. Requirements for admissions include submitting proof of a high diploma or GED. Transcripts may also be requested. The school does not accept ability to benefit test scores.

If you want to work in the cosmetology field and you live in the Cherokee County area, Beauty Technical College might be the right training institution for you.
