National Personal Training Institute, San Francisco
2164 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94114
Description
With top-quality facilities and instruction, the National Personal Training Institute has been preparing personal trainers for success since 1997. The Institute offers one 500-hour diploma program that includes classroom instruction as well as hands-on, supervised gym training. It’s one of the few places where you can get in shape as you study!
A diploma is not technically required to become a personal trainer. However, the National Personal Training Institute recognizes that the job market is as competitive as it has ever been, and presents its diploma program as a way to jumpstart your career. The Institute maintains a password-protected listing of jobs on its website, and the on-staff job placement coordinator can help you find work after graduation.
The Institute’s Dublin branch is located at 7373 Village Parkway, about a 45-minute drive outside of San Francisco. Head instructor Chris Hitchko has worked as a personal trainer for four years, and also has five years of experience as a physical therapist specializing in sports rehabilitation.
The Dublin location has six-month and one-year programs with classes in the morning, evening or on weekends to suit your scheduling needs. Classes generally start in September.
