Description

The East Liverpool campus of Kent State University in Ohio has all the ingredients necessary for a successful college experience in earning an associate or bachelors degree.

Majors include programs such as Accounting, Business, Computer Technology, Communication Studies, Justice Services, Human Development and Family Studies, Nursing, Psychology, Technology, and Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Each spring, the students of KSU are asked to fill out a financial aid packet in order to be considered for scholarships based on their financial needs, major, community service, and location. There are over a dozen yearly scholarships, which range from an honors scholarship to diversity aid.

The career services of KSU reach far and wide. The career counseling center allows students to discuss their options with a counselor who is trained in helping students achieve their dreams. Local job opportunities are often listed at the career center, as well as workshops for writing resumes and a cover letter.
