Description

Lyle’s College of Beauty instructs its students in more than just work-related skills. The faculty also introduces their students to leaders in the cosmetology industry to teach them the value of professionalism and how to achieve it.

Located in Barkersfield, California, approximately three hours north of Los Angeles, and with a second campus in Fresno, Lyle’s offers programs in Cosmetology, Esthetic Arts and Manicuring.

Cosmetology students learn through Lyle’s curriculum as well as through hands-on training in hairstyling, coloring, facials, make-up and hair removal, among other services.

Esthetician students learn about and practice muscle toning and deep cleansing, chemical peels, waxing, air brushing, body treatments and other services.

As aspiring nail technicians, students practice and study all aspects of manicuring and pedicuring including nail art and sanitation.

All students study and integrate practices related to professionalism. These include cultivating a well-groomed and stylish appearance, ethical behavior, skills related to client communications and the skills needed to be a successful salon manager.

In addition to this comprehensive training, students go through seminars with and attend lectures by leading figures in the cosmetology industry.

Financial aid options may be discussed with a financial aid counselor or school administrator at Lyle’s College.
