At Bluegrass Community College in Leestown, Kentucky, students will discover a diversity of academic offerings, scheduling options and student life opportunities.

One of the most quickly expanding two-year colleges in Kentucky, BCTC has more than five campus locations as well as online course offerings.

Academics are wide-ranging and include everything from career training programs like Dental Assisting and Air Conditioning Technology to specialized fields such as Equine Studies, or performing arts offerings such as Film Studies. Adult and continuing education programs are also offered.

The scheduling options at BCTC allow students to attend traditional daytime classes or evening classes, or earn their degree exclusively through weekend courses.

In addition to student organizations and many on-campus activities and events, BCTC has a number of performing arts options including a school chorale, theatre program and a marching band.

Comprehensive student services are also available, such as career development.

Students who wish to attend BCTC must submit evidence of a high school diploma or GED as well as test scores. For those who do not wish to take the SAT or ACT, BCTC requires a school placement test.

Tuition is lower for in-state residents and financial aid is available to students who qualify.
