Description

Advocate Trinity Hospital School of Radiologic Technology was founded in 1968 and became accredited by the American Medical Association in 1969.

The curriculum includes:

* 40 sixty-minute contact hours per week of classroom and clinical education (full-time required attendance)
* college credit courses (offered at a nearby junior college institution)
* attendance at additional clinical affiliation(s) for the enhancement of radiologic technology procedures and to introduce the student to expanded radiologic technology programs

Completion of the program is 24-months.

Graduates of the school are eligible to sit for certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, to be administered through computer testing. Graduates may pursue employment as entry-level radiographers performing diagnostic radiography procedures in health care institutions such as hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices.
