Description

The Northwest campus of Louisiana Technical College in Minden, Louisiana offers practical real-world training for Business, Information Technology, Construction, Transportation and Healthcare careers.

More than 70 years old, LTC is a well-established school that has grown to more than 40 campuses throughout the state.

LTC has had time to grow and develop in its academics and technologies as well.

Consequently LTC is always refining its programs to include the most up-to-date technologies and learning methods.

One way that LTC has done this is through comprehensive, real-world training, teaching students through the actual performance of their trade. A nursing or dental student will, for example, spend time working in a clinic and a student in the automotive division will repair cars.

Dedicated to serving as many students as possible, LTC does its best to provide financial aid to qualifying students. There are also certain tuition waivers for those experiencing financial hardship.

Admission requirements include proof of a high school diploma or GED and the passing of an entrance exam.
