The purpose of Missouri Tech is to develop students technically as well as individually. The college provides a sound, credible background in engineering and develops in students motivation, a positive attitude and pride in their accomplishments. The objective of our program is to prepare students for entry into the engineering field with a proven degree of competency. In order to ensure the success of our students, the staff of Missouri Tech emphasizes the following: Ambition, Attendance, Academics, Attitude, Appearance. Our approach is to teach the basics of theory and then combine this knowledge with practical experience. This provides students with the ability to analyze systmes and solve problems to achieve the best solution. Our mission is to reach out to our community and give as many people as possible who have any interest in engineering a reasonable possibility of success and an opportunity to succeed.
