School Description

Provided by Fayette Institute of Technology

Technical training at the Fayette Plateau Vocational Technical Center is available on an open-door basis to all those who meet basic requirements. The roll of the center is to prepare students for employment and/or post-secondary education. This will be done in laboratoties and classrooms duplicating work environments whenever possible. Close relationships will be developed with business/industry/labor and community colleges for the purpose of better defining course offerings.

Programs will continually be reviewed and adjusted to meet the needs of the community, business and industry, and the students. The Fayette Plateau Vocational Technical Center will continue to offer courses for high school juniors and seniors. Post-secondary students will be accorded training or retraining opportunities. A variety of evening classes will be offered for the community.
