For students who are looking to be trained in a new career, Columbia Basin also offers a special worker retraining program.

Student life provides a thriving and fun atmosphere. There is on-campus entertainment including comedians, bands and film showings as well as numerous student clubs, recreational facilities, arts programs and athletic teams.

To help students with the more practical aspects of their education Columbia Basin offers such services as on-site and online advising, a tutoring and writing center, and childcare.

The admissions department requires that all students submit an application and attend an orientation prior to registration.

Columbia Basin’s tuition is significantly lower for state residents and financial aid is awarded based on one’s income and the amount of funds available.
