Description

As a Christian college with more than 120 years of experience, Sterling College realizes that education extends beyond the classroom. Sterling places a strong emphasis on spiritual growth through service, and student life incorporates a variety of mission trips and community service projects.

In the past, the school has arranged trips to Ukraine, Korea and Africa, as well as various underprivileged areas in the United States. Sterling also has several religious clubs on campus, such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Raya 327.

Sterling College divides its academics into two schools: Liberal Arts & Sciences, and Professional Studies. Nearly 35 programs of study are available on campus and online, including a variety of Secondary Education certification programs.

If you find that none of Sterling’s majors suit your interests, you can design your own through the school’s Independent Interdisciplinary concentration.

Admissions requirements for Sterling include a completed application, high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores. The college offers an early admission option for students in the process of finishing 11th grade.

In addition to state federal financial aid, Sterling College funds a limited number of institutional scholarships.
