Overall

Although this is a local school with many local students attending the school, students can still really enjoy the "college experience" if they want it. It's important to get involved in as many activities as possible. I found that my involvement introduced me to great people and I developed relationships with staff.

Academics

The classes are fair. If students want to be challenged they can be. Most professors are very helpful and class sizes are smaller which allows professors to get to know students. Most professors take an interest in their students and many are involved in the school in other ways than just the classes they teach.

College Life

If students get out and meet other students and participate in as many activities as possible, the experience will be better. If possible, living on campus is a great idea. There are many things to do in the area outside of just bars that other "college towns" might offer.

Overall

The sense of community I have gained through Campus Ministry as well as Residence Life. I have gained friends from all walks of life. I have been given the opportunity to share my love through service. I have been to Kentucky to serve those who could not serve themselves, through that experience I have been given the opportunity to experience the traditions and cultures of different faiths, races, and a different state. As far as academics go, I feel that my intelligence is challenged with every time I attend class or a Q & A panel. I have been able to grow as an individual and in group settings. I have found myself spiritually and grown academically.

Academics

My school's classes are very diverse. I am still in awe from the fact that we have a Harry Potter course being offered for the Fall 2012 semester. I have enjoyed every course I have taken for the year I have been here. The professors I have had honestly care for the well being of each student in the class. Even if it looks as though there is no hope for the success of a student in a class they continue to push them. I know from experience. I entered college with a background in Chinese language, and I took a Spanish 101 course my second semester. My professor bends over backward to make sure that I comprehend and walk away actually having learned something. The workload may be a little hefty but with determination and help offered whenever it is easy to press on and achieve great things. My class sizes have never exceeded 28 students. I always feel as if I am important in each class... I am more than a number and I have had a relationship with each professor that has taught me; i have even been close to professors who I never had a class with.

College Life

Saint Xavier has many students who live near by the school so it's no surprise that we have dessert campus over the weekends. This is not a party school, students just have to find alternative methods of having fun. For me my way of finding fun was joining the knitting club, and becoming involved with the Campus Ministry and attending sporadic events sponsored by Residence Life. There are an array of clubs or student organizations that students can join--they can go from major, cultural identity, or Harry Potter fans. Our school is amazing in athletics, we are recent NAIA champions with our football team and out cheer leading team made the top three in NAIA championships.

Overall

My overall experience has been quite memorable and exceptional. I am a tranfer student and have been attending this University for a year and it has been one of the greatest years throughout my lifetime. Most of everything here has exceeded my expectations and has provided me with a great college experience, and frankly I wouldn't ask for anything more. From the atmosphere to the academics, all these aspects to the University are outstanding. Specifically speaking, the curriculum in each of my courses has really challenged my mind to a profounder condition, in which I doubt I would be able to acquire in any other institution. Personally, I think that a higher education is highly significant in one's lifetime. However, not simply any higher education, but one in which dedication and motivation is greatly infused towards the students. Since this school encompasses a liberal arts education, the classes have rendered my thinking to an innovated level. I know that this school will most certainly impact me as a business student and as a liberated individual in the future.

Overall

The faculty seem to be interested in making sure that the students graduate and are wiling to help. The athletic department has very good sports teams. People are willing to help if dont know where you are. The school makes sure that everybody is safe.

Academics

I have not yet started but what I have been told is that the class room sizes are small. Teachers know what the are teaching and the workload is not that bad. People like what they are learning and enjoy it.

College Life

It seems like the school holds a lot of activities. The school has very good athletic teams. Safety on the school is also very important and that they make sure that everybody on campus is as safe as possible.
