Description

One of Albuquerque, New Mexico’s accredited beauty schools, De Wolf College of Hair and Cosmetology trains students for salon professions through combined methods of instruction. Graduates of De Wolf work in various settings, and nearly 100% of them find employment in the field.

Through its programs in Cosmetology, Esthetics and Nail Technology De Wolf trains students for careers as:

  • Hairstylists
  • Make-up Artists
  • Manicurists
  • Platform Artists
  • Sales representatives

There is also an Instructor Education program, established for the licensed beauty professional that wants to teach others the trade.

Students receive training that combines lectures, demonstrations, theoretical study, in-class activities and hands-on performance of services. Specifically designed to match the learning styles of all students, De Wolf’s combined methods use visual, physical and auditory modes of learning.

The admissions department requires that applicants have a high school diploma or GED. Those applying to the Instructor program must also possess a cosmetology license.

In addition to tuition payment plans, De Wolf offers sources of financial aid such as Pell grants and loans, which are strictly based on financial need.
