Description

Providing opportunities to launch great careers and transfer to California’s most respected four-year schools, Antelope Valley College is the primary source of education for Lancaster area residents.

At Antelope Valley, students may get associate’s degrees or certificates in fields related to business, computer science, medicine and health, language arts, math, engineering, social and behavioral sciences and visual and performing arts.

Students in Antelope Valley’s honors program learn through small discussion-based seminars and have the opportunity to be admitted to some of the state’s top universities.

Student life gives students the chance to participate and initiate different activities. More than 15 academic, recreational and cultural student clubs are currently in existence, but any student who wishes to start a new club is invited to do so.

Tuition at Antelope Valley is substantially reduced for in-state residents. Financial aid is also available for those who are eligible.

Admission is based on submission of an application, which may be done online.
