Description

As one of the Missouri College of Cosmetology’s three locations, the North campus is a state-of-the-art beauty-training center. In addition to two large classrooms with multimedia support, the facilities include a clinic area, dispensary area and office space.

Missouri College of Cosmetology offers academics in Cosmetology and Esthetics. The Cosmetology program, which requires 1500 clock hours, is a comprehensive course teaching various aspects of the beauty industry. The curriculum focuses on hairstyling, nail care and skin treatments, and you can complete it in nine to fifteen months.

The Esthetics course is half the length of the Cosmetology program. Esthetics students study total skin care, from facials and massage to hair removal and makeup application. Like the Cosmetology course, the Esthetics curriculum is also designed to prepare you for the Missouri State Board exam.

Missouri College of Cosmetology follows an open admissions policy. Anyone with a high school diploma or GED who is at least 17 years old is welcome to apply.

The school offers financial aid in the form of federal grants and student loans. You must fill out the FAFSA to find out if you qualify for these need-based programs.
