Cochran School of Nursing

Cochran School of Nursing (CSN) has been training health care professionals for more than a century. Its focused academics offer an associate’s of applied science degree program, which will prepare you for your RN license and a successful career in one of the fastest growing industries.

CSN’s associate’s degree program is designed to be completed in two years, so you can move on to your new career as quickly as possible. After taking some pre-clinical nursing classes, you’ll begin the four-term curriculum, which consists of lab, clinical and classroom-based courses.

The school is also affiliated with several institutions, including Mercy College, SUNY Delhi and St. Johns Riverside Hospital. These affiliations have several benefits for students, including externship and job opportunities, as well as guaranteed clinical placement.

Admissions requirements for CSN include the TEAS exam and a high school diploma or GED. Certain courses are also required, so check the school’s website to make sure you’re eligible.

Federal financial aid programs are available at Cochran School of Nursing. To find out if you qualify for these programs, you must complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1.
