Maui Community College is a public, co-educational commuter college in Kahului, Hawaii on the island of Maui. It is one of ten branches of the University of Hawaii system anchored by the University of Hawaii at Mānoa in Honolulu and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
In addition to its main campus in Kahului, Maui Community College also runs four education centers: Lahaina Education Center in Lahaina and Hāna Education Center in Hāna; Molokai Education Center on the island of Molokai; and Lānai Education Center on the island of Lānai. The three islands, Maui, Molokai, and Lānai, comprised makeup the Tri-isle, a name commonly applied to refer to all three islands.
It is currently expanding to include four-year degrees.
