UH Maui Description

Not only is Maui College located in one of the most enchanting places on the planet, it also boasts strong, even award-winning, academics.

Though mostly a degree-granting two-year school, Maui College also offers three four-year degree programs in Business, Engineering and Science.

Maui College’s award-winning two-year programs include Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Nursing.

Maui College’s career services division has also received recognition. In 2008, Maui College was granted the Bellwether Award in the workforce development category for placing students in local jobs and careers.

Located in Kahului, on breathtaking Maui Island, Maui College also offers much in the way of recreation, relaxation and inspiration.

Maui College maintains a transfer agreement with the entire University of Hawaii system so that students who receive an associate’s degree from Maui may transfer to a University of Hawaii campus without losing credits.

Financial aid is available to eligible students and usually includes loans, grants, work-study and scholarships. Financial aid may be applied to tuition, room and board, books and supplies, transportation and living expenses.
