Tulsa Welding School (TWS) has been in the business of graduating world-class welders for the past 60 years. In1949, two welders who recognized the demand for professionally trained welders founded TWS. Today, the school boasts the title of the largest accredited welding institution in the United States.

TWS has two campuses that focus on fast career training. The Tulsa, Oklahoma campus confers two professional certificate programs that can be earned in less than one year, as well as one associates degree which requires less than two years of commitment.

Each prospective student interested in starting a career in welding should fill out an application for the Tulsa Welding School. To help with the admissions process, each applicant speaks with an admissions representative who can answer any questions he may have about the school. Contact the school for more information on admissions.

Students at Tulsa Welding School receive hands-on practical training that is immediately transferable to their careers. Rather than attending a four-year college and taking classes that are not related to welding, students are able to dive right into their passion. This means that you can graduate faster and move directly into your career in welding.

There are programs for students at various levels of knowledge in welding. The diploma programs prepare students for entry-level positions in the welding industry. More advanced students should pursue the associates degree program, which allows them to refine their welding skills for higher-level positions.

The staff at Tulsa Welding School makes the students their number one priority by providing an unending supply of support and guidance. They assist students in obtaining temporary housing while earning their degrees, as well as providing part-time job assistance.

Some applicants are interested in starting their welding educations, but do not have the money to pay for the cost of tuition and fees on their own. In this case, qualified students may take advantage of the school’s financial aid in the form of federal and state grants and loans. For more information on getting financial aid, contact Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa.

The TWS Employment Department staff is there to help students find employment after graduation. They do so by assisting students in preparing resumes, strengthening interviewing techniques, conducting job searches and completing employer weld tests. Luckily for students, the demand for welders exceeds the number of graduates of the school. This means that there are plenty of work opportunities for alumni of TWS.
