Students at Georgia Career Institute (GCI) in Conyers, Georgia receive comprehensive training to become skilled, professional and ethical beauty arts practitioners.
Georgia Career Institute’s academic offerings include Cosmetology, Nail Technology, Esthetic Arts and Instructor Training. GCI also has a massage therapy program.
Students in all of GCI’s programs learn all aspects of their craft. For example, massage therapy students learn and use Eastern, Western and European therapeutic techniques. Likewise, in cosmetology, trainees study a variety of styles and methods.
GCI also requires that students work at the school salon, offering hair, nail and make-up services to the public for a grade.
GCI’s comprehensive approach also requires the teaching and practice of professional standards and ethical practices in the workplace.
Admissions requirements include proof of a high school diploma or GED as well as a personal interview. Those interested in the salon instructor training program must meet additional requirements.
