Question: What could i do with a degree in psychology?hey guys i am currently a senior in highschool and i will be attending Vanguard University (in southern california) its a private christian school. I will be double majoring in Biblical Studies and possible Psychology. I know what i wanna do with my bib studies degree. Could you guys give me some options i could do with that degree in psych. Thank you so much for the help!10 months ago
Best AnswerYou could take your psychology degree along with $3.50 and you will get a cup of coffee at starbucks. I am kidding of course, but only partially. A bachelors degree in psychology is helpful in the sense that it will allow you to understand people better and that is a plus on many job applications in feilds like human resources or sales. This is true of many liberal arts degress which make you a more rounded and intelligent candidate for certain jobs. However, there is little you will be able to do in the field of psychology itself, except work in a group home or the like. To get a job involving counseling, assessments, case management etc,, you usually need at least a Masters Degree in feilds such as psychology or social work |
