Description

New Hope Christian College is a small, four-year Christian college in Eugene, Oregon, that blends Bible-based studies with creative arts programs.

Academics include bachelor’s degrees in religious fields, such as:

  • Christian Counseling
  • Christian Education
  • Pastoral Studies
  • Youth Ministry

Students may also major in such creative arts fields as:

  • Dance
  • Drama
  • Media and Production
  • Music

All of New Hope’s creative arts programs integrate a substantial amount of spiritual and religious study. In addition, there is a program in Worship Leading, which focuses exclusively on the integration of these two disciplines.

New Hope Christian‘s college life also blends spiritual, religious and creative activities. Students may participate in performing arts productions, local and international ministries, community outreach, and campus worship. Each student leads at least one chapel service, as well.

Admissions requirements include a high school diploma, with a GPA of at least 2.5 or a satisfactory grade on the GED. Applicants must submit transcripts or GED reports and an admissions application.

New Hope Christian College offers academic scholarships and scholarships for children of ministers. Other types of financial aid include federal Pell and SEOG grants, work-study awards and federal loans.
