Description

With a history that spans more than 65 years, Ohio University Zanesville has a proud tradition of serving the academic needs of southeastern Ohio. OU Zanesville strives to provide the intimacy and specialized attention of a liberal arts college with the resources of a research university.

Admissions to OU Zanesville are easy for students who have attended another Ohio University campus. You can simply re-enroll without reapplying. If you have not attended OU, submit the online application complete with your high school transcript and test scores.

OUZ’s academics include about 15 associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, as well as a few online master’s degrees. Many of these programs are professionally oriented, in fields like Applied Management, Criminal Justice, and Health Services Administration. However, you can also study traditional liberal arts subjects like Communications, History, and Art.

Among the financial aid options available at OUZ are academic and multicultural scholarships for freshmen. There are also a variety of institutional scholarships for upperclassmen. Many of these are based on academic achievement, and some, like the Marilyn Jones Memorial Scholarship, are also major-specific. Government grants and loans are also available to those who qualify.
