Best Answer Depends on your major. i.e. CalU has a strong Criminology program, as well as a strong program in Climatology, but it's a much smaller school, and Slippery Rock offers degrees in many more areas. So, generally I'd say, Slippery Rock is better. Both are pretty close to Pittsburgh, in Rural areas, and have similar access to opportunities for employment, study abroad, and internships. They are "sister schools," in that they are part of the same University system. (State system of Higher Education)
