Ulster BOCES in New Paltz, New York offers numerous and varied career training programs and support services for students of all ages and educational levels. So no matter what your current situation is, Ulster BOCES might have something for you.

Ulster Boces’ “High Schools that Work” program allows students who are still in high school to receive career training through classes and hands-on work experience. These students may go on to receive certification through BOCES or pursue a post-secondary degree at a college or university.

Ulster BOCES offers certifications in such fields as Nursing, Business, and technical and industrial trades.

Unique among technical schools is the performing arts option at Ulster BOCES. This allows students to receive training and certification in technical theatre careers like set construction and stage lighting.

With an eye towards students of varied backgrounds and ages, Ulster BOCES also offers the “youth build” program to people aged 16-24 who wish to receive a high school diploma. Youth Build provides classes in GED preparation, personal counseling and job placement services to individuals aged 16-24.
