Description

For more than 100 years, Marinello Beauty School has been training beauty artists.

With its distinctive curriculum, comprehensive and hands-on training, and networking and showcasing opportunities, Marinello provides a high-quality education for future beauty artists.

Located in Ogden, Utah, Marinello has additional campuses throughout California and the West, including such Pacific Northwestern areas as Oregon and Washington State.

Marinello’s training includes haircutting and styling techniques, including ethnic hairstyling, texturing and straightening, as well as training in esthetics and nail care.

A hands-on program, Marinello provides opportunities for students to practice their styling and beauty skills. Marinello also offers a unique and effective curriculum that takes students through different skill-sets and levels, one by one, giving them the chance to thoroughly absorb the methods and skills taught at each level. Marinello students also get training in business skills, like clientele-building and customer service.

Those interested in attending Marinello will need to fill out an online application, tour the school and interview with a member of the admissions staff. Since the only requirement is a high school diploma or GED, no special educational background is necessary.

Marinello also sponsors several partial tuition scholarships, for which students must apply individually to be considered. In addition, those who would like to be considered for loans and/or grants will need to fill out a FAFSA. The department of education will then determine each student-applicant’s eligibility for these funds based on financial need and other factors.
