LETU Description

A Christian College that incorporates biblical teachings and practices with comprehensive academics, LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, offers a Christian-oriented environment in which to pursue various academic degree programs.

LeTourneau’s more than 80 fields of study lead to bachelor’s degrees in such areas as:

Non-traditional bachelor’s programs for working adults as well as online graduate programs are also available.

The religious life at Le Tourneau assures that students continue to nurture themselves and grow spiritually. Among these activities are prayer groups, mission trips and chapel services.

Students applying as traditional undergraduates are evaluated based on their test scores, grade point average, academic recommendations, leadership qualities and commitment to the Christian way of life. Since Le Tourneau has a rolling admissions policy, students may apply at any time throughout the year.

Financial aid is also available to those who qualify to help with tuition costs. Students will need to fill out a FAFSA online to qualify for grants and federal loans. Additional grants that cover a sizeable portion of tuition are also available to those who plan to go into the teaching profession.
