International Salon and Spa Academy, Colorado Springs

For more than 40 years, International Salon and Spa Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been preparing cosmetologists and other beauty professionals for successful careers. The training at International Salon is well-rounded and the schedules are flexible.

International Salon’s programs train students to work as:

*Hairstylists
*Barbers
*Manicurists/pedicurists
*Estheticians

In addition to taking classes, which use the most current salon products and materials, students in all programs work under faculty supervision at the school’s public salon, cutting and styling hair and giving manicures, pedicures and facials.

In addition, all students take a business course, which prepares them for professional interactions with clientele and other important areas of the business.

Both day and evening classes are available so that students may continue to work while attending International Salon and Spa.

Since International Salon’s only admissions requirement is possession of a high school diploma or GED, individuals of all educational and professional backgrounds may enroll.

Financial aid may also be granted to students who have a significant financial need. After filling out a FAFSA, qualifying students will then be awarded grants, and/or various types of loans. Veteran’s benefits are also available.
