Just a few miles outside of Clarksdale, Missouri, Coahoma Community College provides career and educational opportunities for students in numerous counties throughout the region.

Serving Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman, Tallahatchie, and Tunica counties, Coahoma has career programs in such fields as hairstyling, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Welding, Accounting, Early Childhood Education and Medical Billing.

Coahoma also offers associate’s degree programs in Practical Nursing, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Polysomnography, Emergency Medical Services and Phlebotomy.

Also among Coahoma’s offerings are evening courses for adults seeking to learn a new skill in a shortened amount of time.

Student services at Coahoma provide comprehensive support including tutoring, career services and placement, health services, financial aid for eligible students, and student employment opportunities.

Coahoma also has a variety of student clubs and organizations geared towards helping students cultivate and refine academic skills, such as a science and math club, a club for aspiring barbers, and a club for English majors.

Though a two-year school, Coahoma provides student housing and dining facilities for those who wish to live on campus.
