Northwest Educational Center offers free, hands-on career training for some of today’s most in-demand fields. Located in Houston, Texas, Northwest Educational Center’s certificate programs include those leading to careers in medical and health fields, and computer science.
Many Northwest students go on to have thriving careers in their particular field. This is, in great part, because Northwest’s career services department assists students by helping place them in externships, or positions related to their area of study. A medical assisting student might, for example, get an externship as a medical assistant in a doctor’s office or hospital.
Since Northwest is free for state residents, Texas-based students don’t have to worry about tuition costs or taking on debt.
In order to make attendance easier for working adults, Northwest offers classes in the evening as well as the daytime.
