Description

The Fort Wayne campus of Trine University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a private, non-denominational university that specializes in rigorous academics in over 35 associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees and features many opportunities for hands-on experiences leading to real world, skill-based professions.

A major focus of Trine is its student life. Over 60 student organizations like Habitat for Humanity, campus ministry, honor societies and fraternities, and internships give students the opportunity to experience the professional side of their student career.

Class sizes are small, allowing for individualized student-teacher interaction.

Co-op programs are available, giving students the opportunity to alternate between semesters of employment with semesters of full time study.

For students who already know the career they want, Trine offers Full Throttle three-year accelerated programs. These programs reduce the cost of attending college by a year and provide you with the education to enter graduate school or the workforce much earlier. Programs include the Jannen School of Arts and Sciences and Ketner School of Business, Elementary Education at Frank’s School of Education, and the Allen School of Engineering Technology.

Trine offers a wide variety of merit-based scholarships from academic competitiveness scholarships to music to U.S. Navy scholarships. Other forms of financial aid for eligible students include grants, loans, work study, and more.
