Description
The Neosho Beauty College in Neosho, Missouri, is here to help you achieve your career goals in the cosmetology profession through quality instruction, sound business practices and a qualified and motivated staff of instructors. The goal is to prepare graduates to take the Missouri State Board examination.
The college offers three programs: Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring.
The cosmetology program is 1,500 clock hours and may be completed in approximately one year. It is designed to give students an education in the basic principles of cosmetology and an understanding of the science of beautifying, caring for, and improving hair, nails, and skin.
The esthetics program is 750 clock hours and can be completed in six months. Graduates will be educated in skin care and the services provided to maintain it.
The manicuring program is 400 clock hours and takes approximately 14 weeks to complete. Upon completion, students will be knowledgeable of manicuring’s basic principles and products used therein.
Applications are available on the college’s website. Admissions also require students to complete a school entrance questionnaire.
Tuition does not include the cost of books or a cosmetology kit.
The school is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, making it possible for students in the cosmetology and esthetics courses to receive federal financial aid in the form of Pell grants and direct loans if they qualify.
