Description

What’s better than studying in beautiful coastal Maine? How about studying in beautiful coastal Maine just south of the Canadian border? Grab your passport and start your studies at Washington County Community College.

Washington County Community College has a liberal studies program in which you can earn the first two years toward a baccalaureate degree. This provides the opportunity to get a great start at a small school prior to transferring to a larger university to complete your four-year degree. They also offer various certificate, diploma, and associate’s degree programs to choose from.

You may be wondering how good student life is at WCCC. As if the location and array of outdoor activities isn’t enough, the school also offers three-bedroom apartments on campus that are more like townhouses. Students can enjoy the comfort and privacy of their own bedroom while sharing the living room, kitchen and bathroom with friends.

WCCC offers reduced tuition for Maine residents as well as other offers for regional area students, and financial aid including work-study programs is available for eligible applicants.

The school regularly holds “test and tour” days where prospective students can take a tour of the campus and take the accuplacer placement test. This is also a great opportunity to meet with admissions staff, financial aid representatives and student accounts staff – both for students and parents alike.
